O governo justifica a mudan\u00e7a afirmando que as despesas da Trensurb, nos \u00faltimos anos, cresceram em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da expans\u00e3o do sistema at\u00e9 Novo Hamburgo, agregando cinco novas esta\u00e7\u00f5es e 9,3 quil\u00f4metros de linha. Ainda, a Trensurb afirma que os custos de opera\u00e7\u00e3o e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o crescerem mais de 100% de 2007 a 2017.<\/p>\n

O Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Empresas de Transporte Metrovi\u00e1rio e Conexas do RS \u00a0(Sindimetr\u00f4 -RS) divulgou nota, na manh\u00e3 desta quarta-feira, 31, discordando do aumento da passagem: “Nada justifica na atual conjuntura um absurdo aumento de 94% no valor da tarifa do trem metropolitano, quando a infla\u00e7\u00e3o no per\u00edodo foi de 75%.
