Na madrugada desta sexta-feira, 29, por volta das 2h50min, o ex-vereador de Canoas Ney de Moura Calixto . O vel\u00f3rio foi as 8 horas desta manh\u00e3, no Cemit\u00e9rio S\u00e3o Vicente, capela 9 e a cerim\u00f4nia de crema\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 \u00e0s 15 horas, no mesmo local.<\/p>\n

Segundo os familiares, uma fal\u00eancia m\u00faltima dos \u00f3rg\u00e3o vitimou Calixto, que lutava contra um c\u00e2ncer. Ele estava internado desde domingo, 24, a noite, no Hospital M\u00e3e de Deus, onde chegou desfalecido e ficou internado com insufici\u00eancia respirat\u00f3ria.<\/p>\n

Em maio do ano passado, foi agraciado com o trof\u00e9u O Canoeiro, entregue pelo presidente da C\u00e2mara, Paulo Ritter (PT), em reconhecimento \u00e0 sua trajet\u00f3ria profissional e pol\u00edtica. Na condi\u00e7\u00e3o de sargento da Aeron\u00e1utica, Calixto teve participa\u00e7\u00e3o ativa no Movimento da Legalidade ao impedir que os avi\u00f5es decolassem de Canoas para bombardear o Pal\u00e1cio Piratini.<\/p>\n

\u00c9 autor do livro \u201cOs sargentos da Legalidade\u201d, onde narra os principais fatos que culminaram com o Movimento da Legalidade, liderado pelo ent\u00e3o governador do Rio Grande do Sul, Leonel Brizola, que defendia a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da ordem jur\u00eddica, com a posse do vice, Jo\u00e3o Goulart. Lan\u00e7ado em 2011, com o apoio da Prefeitura de Canoas, a obra est\u00e1 na segunda edi\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0 \u201cO livro retrata o que \u00e9 um pa\u00eds sem democracia, aquilo que acontecia nos por\u00f5es da ditadura. Calixto foi um homem que arriscou a vida para lutar pela democracia e pelo estado democr\u00e1tico de direito\u201d, destacou Emilio Neto.<\/p>\n

Ney de Moura Calixto nasceu no dia 6 de junho de 1929, em Palmeira das Miss\u00f5es e mudou-se para Canoas em 1946, onde serviu no 3\u00ba Regimento de Avia\u00e7\u00e3o, antiga 5\u00aa Zona A\u00e9rea, atual V Comando A\u00e9reo Regional (V Comar). Foi oficial de gabinete da Secretaria Estadual da Fazenda durante o governo de Brizola, em 1960. Requisitado pelo ent\u00e3o presidente da Rep\u00fablica Jo\u00e3o Goulart, ficou \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o para pilotar os avi\u00f5es da Superintend\u00eancia de Pol\u00edtica Agr\u00e1ria.
