A sess\u00e3o durou mais de 12 horas e resultou na cassa\u00e7\u00e3o dos mandatos e na inelegibilidade de ambos por oito anos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"931\">O impeachment de Wasem foi aprovado por 14 votos a 3, enquanto o vice recebeu 13 votos favor\u00e1veis e 4 contr\u00e1rios. De acordo com o parecer apresentado pelo procurador-geral da C\u00e2mara, Rodrigo Silveira, o prefeito teria interferido no funcionamento do Legislativo e praticado irregularidades fiscais no Instituto de Previd\u00eancia municipal. J\u00e1 em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao vice-prefeito, o documento apontou suposta contrata\u00e7\u00e3o emergencial irregular e poss\u00edveis infra\u00e7\u00f5es cometidas durante per\u00edodo em que exerceu o cargo de prefeito.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"1377\">Antes da vota\u00e7\u00e3o, Cristian Wasem discursou por cerca de 40 minutos, criticou o processo e afirmou que a cassa\u00e7\u00e3o representaria uma viola\u00e7\u00e3o da vontade popular. Em nota, o prefeito declarou que o processo \u201cn\u00e3o se sustenta em fatos, provas ou qualquer tipifica\u00e7\u00e3o legal\u201d. Wasem deixou o plen\u00e1rio antes da divulga\u00e7\u00e3o do resultado, que j\u00e1 era considerado definido nos bastidores, inclusive com votos favor\u00e1veis de vereadores de seu pr\u00f3prio partido.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1662\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Na madrugada de s\u00e1bado, foi realizada uma sess\u00e3o extraordin\u00e1ria para a posse da vereadora Jussara Ca\u00e7apava (Avante), ent\u00e3o presidente da C\u00e2mara e opositora do governo, como prefeita interina.
