Lech foi eleito vereador da cidade em 1983 e 2013, Deputado Federal Constituinte em 1986 e ocupou diversas fun\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas ao longo da vida pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Hist\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ivo da Silva Lech nasceu em Canoas no dia 19 de maio de 1948. \u00a0Era advogado, vendedor, e foi vereador de Canoas, deputado federal constituinte, secret\u00e1rio da agricultura em Santa Catarina e fundador da ACADEF.<\/p>\n<p>Filho de Miguel Lech e Loreni da Silva Lech, formou-se em Direito em 1994 pela Universidade Unisinos, em S\u00e3o Leopoldo.<\/p>\n<p>Em 1983, exerceu o mandato de vereador de Canoas pelo Partido do Movimento Democr\u00e1tico Brasileiro (PMDB). Em 1987, ocupou o cargo de deputado federal constituinte e foi presidente da Subcomiss\u00e3o de Minorias, assegurando os direitos aos \u00edndios, negros, pessoas com defici\u00eancia e LGBTs.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2012, foi eleito novamente vereador de Canoas pelo PMDB\u00a0e, em 2016, foi autor do Projeto de Lei 31\/2016, que assegura o direito \u00e0s mulheres de amamentar em p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m exerceu o cargo de Secret\u00e1rio Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico, foi fundador da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Canoense de Deficientes F\u00edsicos (ACADEF), idealizador da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural de Canoas e o primeiro controlador da Controladoria-Geral do Munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n<h4>Despedida<\/h4>\n<p>O vel\u00f3rio ser\u00e1 realizado nesta sexta-feira, 13, no Cemit\u00e9rio S\u00e3o Vicente (Av.
