Nesta quinta-feira, 10, o presidente da Rep\u00fablica, Jair Bolsonaro, foi recebido pelo prefeito de Canoas, Luiz Carlos Busato, onde entregou as chaves, de forma simb\u00f3lica, do hospital Universit\u00e1rio (HU) de Canoas.<\/p>\n

Doa\u00e7\u00e3o feita em julho<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Prefeitura de Canoas recebeu oficialmente do Governo federal a doa\u00e7\u00e3o do pr\u00e9dio do HU em julho deste ano. A doa\u00e7\u00e3o se destina \u00e0 manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da presta\u00e7\u00e3o dos servi\u00e7os de sa\u00fade, incluindo servi\u00e7os ambulatoriais e hospitalares do Hospital Universit\u00e1rio, que \u00e9 refer\u00eancia para tratamentos especializados em sa\u00fade para at\u00e9 156 cidades do Rio Grande do Sul.<\/p>\n

Prefeitura assumiu ap\u00f3s crise<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ao ver a entidade iniciar uma crise no ano de 2009, que at\u00e9 pouco tempo ainda mostrava efeitos colaterais, a Prefeitura de Canoas assumiu a gest\u00e3o dos servi\u00e7os de sa\u00fade da institui\u00e7\u00e3o, que j\u00e1 havia fechado alas e andares inteiros por conta da grave situa\u00e7\u00e3o financeira da Universidade Luterana do Brasil (Ulbra). Contudo, o im\u00f3vel e todos os bens e equipamentos que serviam ao hospital foram transferidos para a Uni\u00e3o, como forma de quitar parte das d\u00edvidas contra\u00eddas pela Ulbra com o Governo Federal. Mas, agora, ap\u00f3s doa\u00e7\u00e3o oficial no meio de 2020, ele volta para os canoenses.<\/p>\n
