Foto: Bruno Lara\/OT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As demiss\u00f5es na empresa MWM repercutiram na cidade em fun\u00e7\u00e3o do grande n\u00famero de demiss\u00f5es. Segundo Cledenir Dias Paim, diretor do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores Metal\u00fargicos de Canoas, na quinta-feira, mais 75 pessoas foram demitidas em bloco pela empresa que come\u00e7ou o ano com 1.100 funcion\u00e1rios. Em agosto eram 720 na folha de pagamento e, atualmente, a MWM possui apenas 500 funcion\u00e1rios a serem demitidos.<br \/>\nPaim \u00e9 funcion\u00e1rio da empresa e completar\u00e1 22 anos em fevereiro de 2016, m\u00eas em que a empresa pretende fechar as portas. O motivo foi o t\u00e9rmino de contrato entre a fabricante de motores e a multinacional General Motors (GM).<br \/>\nSegundo Paim, neste ano, o sindicato j\u00e1 totalizou 1.800 rescis\u00f5es de pessoas que foram desempregadas que possuem mais de um ano de empresa. A perspectiva para o final do ano \u00e9 ainda pior. Ele entende que ao menos 2.500 trabalhadores com mais de um ano de empresa devem perder seus empregos at\u00e9 o final deste ano. \u201cPara nossa cidade, isso a\u00ed \u00e9 um preju\u00edzo enorme. S\u00e3o milhares de fam\u00edlias perdendo emprego. Todas as empresas est\u00e3o com demiss\u00f5es\u201d, afirma o diretor.<br \/>\nPara ele, a culpa \u00e9 da infla\u00e7\u00e3o em torno de 9,5%. \u201cN\u00e3o estamos vendo com bons olhos 2016. A infla\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 muito alta. A infla\u00e7\u00e3o mais 2% de aumento real. Esse ano recebemos a infla\u00e7\u00e3o parcelada em duas vezes. A realidade \u00e9 de mais empresas fechando as portas\u201d, esclarece.<br \/>\nS\u00f3 em Canoas, conforme Paim, ao menos mais tr\u00eas empresas devem fechar as portas. \u201cEmpresa com 40 (funcion\u00e1rios) para mandar embora com uma folha de pagamento de um milh\u00e3o e meio (R$ 1,5 milh\u00e3o) e n\u00e3o tem dinheiro para pagar a rescis\u00e3o\u201d, afirma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reclama\u00e7\u00e3o dos funcion\u00e1rios<\/strong><br \/>\nSobre a acusa\u00e7\u00e3o de n\u00e3o conversar com funcion\u00e1rios, apenas com a empresa, Paim informou que n\u00e3o procede. \u201cA gente trabalha com n\u00fameros, pap\u00e9is e documentos. Eu fui um cara presente em todas as negocia\u00e7\u00f5es sindicato-empresa. Foi feita assembleia (tr\u00eas ao todo) interna com a assinatura de todos os trabalhadores presentes\u201d, segundo ele, de 3 de agosto at\u00e9 o momento.<br \/>\nPara ele, a solu\u00e7\u00e3o chegada com a MWM superou o que est\u00e1 previsto na legisla\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cA empresa mesmo encerrando as atividades est\u00e1 dando seis meses de planos de sa\u00fade mais dois sal\u00e1rios m\u00ednimos e meio\u201d, declarou. Paim refor\u00e7ou que um turno, \u201cque envolvia cerca de 18 funcion\u00e1rios, o supervisor passou o conte\u00fado maior\u201d, por isso n\u00e3o participando da assembleia. Paim informou que na \u00faltima reuni\u00e3o o prefeito Jairo Jorge (PT) esteve presente. \u201cInclusive o Jairo se colocou \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, destacou.<br \/>\nSegundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es de fontes extra-oficias, a empresa chinesa interessada em comprar a MWM \u00e9 a Foton Motors que j\u00e1 tem unidades no Brasil e fabrica caminh\u00f5es.
