Com um olhar voltado para os bairros, o Lions Niter\u00f3i busca ajudar aos alunos da rede p\u00fablica de ensino de Canoas que tem problemas para enxergar. Este \u00e9 o objetivo do projeto Olhar Brasil, apresentado pelo presidente da entidade, Marco Andr\u00e9 Schiek, na C\u00e2mara dos Vereadores, na quinta-feira, 10, em grande expediente proposto pelo vereador Ivo Fiorotti (PT).
\nSegundo Marco, o projeto, que atua em parceria com a Prefeitura e o Hospital Nossa Senhora das Gra\u00e7as (HNSG) e foi elaborado de forma conjunta pelos Minist\u00e9rios da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e da Sa\u00fade, tem como meta a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e a corre\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas de vis\u00e3o de cerca de 40 mil alunos.
\nO Olhar Brasil nasceu em Canoas, no m\u00eas de abril, com recursos federais e municipais, buscando a redu\u00e7\u00e3o das taxas de evas\u00e3o escolar decorrentes de dificuldades visuais, al\u00e9m de proporcionar melhorias na qualidade de vida dos estudantes atendidos. Embora natural de Canoas, a tend\u00eancia \u00e9 que se estenda para o resto do pa\u00eds.
\nAp\u00f3s a triagem dos estudantes dentro das escolas, uma unidade m\u00f3vel do Lions disponibiliza consultas com m\u00e9dicos oftalmologistas do Hospital Nossa Senhora das Gra\u00e7as. Ap\u00f3s a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, aqueles que t\u00eam indica\u00e7\u00e3o para uso de \u00f3culos escolhem a arma\u00e7\u00e3o no mesmo dia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
